Togu Audio Line has announced version 1.0 of TAL-Reverb, a free reverb effect plug-in for PC and Mac.
TAL-Reverb is a free open source stereo plate reverb based on juce. Its very diffuse and has its own sound because of its special signal routing. Slight modulated delay times avoid artefacts in the reverb tail and give this reverb its smooth sound.
Maybe you try it on some percussion sounds to find out if you like it. Because of the few knobs, this plugin should be is easy to use.
Changes in TAL-Reverb v1.0
- Wider stereo spread.
- Improved sound at small room size.
- Improved reverb modulation.
Togu Audio Line has also released an updated version of TAL-Elek7ro. Version 1.11 features an improved filter sound at high resonance (sounds a little bit more analogue now).
TAL-Reverb and TAL-Elek7ro are available as freeware for PC and Mac (VST/AU).
